Athena von Amberger is a lovely 5 year old German Shepherd.   She’s upbeat, happy and just loves life.  She showers her people friends with her love and affection.  Her favorite thing is to roll on her back and get belly scratches and show you her appreciation with lots of kisses.  She was selected to be in a television video about our available rescue dogs and it turns out that our girl is quite an actress.   She was a hit and everyone loved her.  Watch out Hollywood – here comes Athena!  On an outing to the park, she had so much fun sniffing, relaxing, and exploring.  She was in a home with other dogs and is fine with cats as well.   Athena is a wonderful dog, a pleasure to be with, and wants so badly to give you her heart.  She’s one of those dogs who will be your best friend.
